Temple Painter Tattoo is bringing you a brand new experience, mixing the worlds of tattooing, and music. A community of creatives. This space exists to strengthen relationships and cultivate creativity.

DANNY SIVITER

Danny Siviter first created TEMPLE PAINTER as a platform for his art, which then turned into a brand, and now a studio space where he can celebrate the stories of each and every client that sits in his chair.

As a child, Danny remembers seeing tattoos on his grandpa’s arms, back when tattoos came with plenty of stories and a lot of respect. And even at an early age, Danny became very intrigued with the ability to express one’s self through images portrayed on skin. He feels that tattoos, whether directly meaningful or not, tell a story. He came to realize that he wanted to work in a capacity where he could help illustrate these stories.

Dannys passion for creativity started out musically in his early years playing in numerous bands for well over a decade taking him all over the east coast and midwest. In his mid 20s, while taking a break from touring with bands, he decided that it was time to pay his dues and give his complete focus and energy to the craft of tattooing. So he put down the drumsticks and microphones, and picked up a pencil and got to work. After apprenticing in North Carolina, Danny bounced around for awhile until he found a welcoming home in the Chattanooga area.

DARCIE MIKULKA

Darcie has always been compelled by the sublime, surreal qualities in art that invoke emotion, and her work leans into those qualities.

Knowing she wanted to be an artist from a young age, she began her professional development as a painter after earning a BA in studio arts. Finding herself drawn to the uniquely personal expression of tattoos, she began her tattooing apprenticeship at Temple Painter Tattoo in the summer of 2023.

She sees tattooing as a collaboration between artist and client, and she is humbled and honored every time she gets to develop a design that someone will carry with them forever. She hopes to contribute to the welcoming environment at Temple Painter Tattoo by cultivating a safe space for clients to collaborate with her on meaningful, unique works of art.

Darcie draws extensively from both fine art and folk art, often incorporating natural elements in her work. Her designs fall under the broad category of neo-traditional style.
